Hi, I'm Meagan, the heart and soul behind Meagan Ovilda Photography. My journey into photography began at home. Growing up, l'd watch my mom pull out her camera any chance she got. Capturing the big moments, the quiet ones, and everything in between. She'd print her photos and hang them all around the house, turning our walls into a gallery of our life. That stayed with me. What started as a hobby slowly became something more: a way to connect, to preserve, to tell stories that matter.

While my path has been anything but traditional, it’s been full of adventure, creativity, and love. From being a flight attendant in Canada to becoming a mom to the most amazing little boy in December 2024, every chapter led me right here: doing what I love, in a city I love, with people in love.

  • I used to be a flight attendant and believe that experiencing what other countries have to offer is extremely important.

  • I gave birth to my beautiful son in December 2024. When I’m not taking photos or editing them, I’m spending time with my little best friend.

  • I was a plus-size micro-influencer for a short period of time. I value all bodies and believe that everyone should feel comfortable getting their photos taken.

  • I played hockey for 13 years - I was a goalie and I am an avid Montreal Canadiens fan. Go Habs go!

  • I love to thrift constantly. Especially to find the coolest items for photoshoots!
